Agrarian Reform has been a hot issue since then.

It is not just about the ownership but also the

livelihood and benefits that it can give to the farmers, cultivators, tenants and landlords. Upon
reading the history of agrarian reform of the Philippines, I have realized that it was somehow
complex and complicated. From farmers being able to abundantly enjoy full ownership and make
use of the land, to almost begging to have and be shared a little portion of it. I felt sad to knew that
after how many years, it has not been fully resolved. Although it is good to know that many of our
leaders and politicians in the government have made and established laws and programs to adress
the rightful distribution and sharing ratio, it seems like there's something lacking. It was still not
enough.

I have come to think and wonder if was it that really hard to resolve it? Or
Was it the people and the ways they did to adress the issue was the problem? For I think that if
only they really had that vision of resolving it, it could have been resolved a long time ago. I
amnot saying that the government was rotten but from what is happening, it looks like it is. I am
aware that Agrarian Reform is not just the only problem that our government must address but I
think it is not also a waste of time if they will give it more priority and budget. They should triple
effort for it because it is a shame if it would last any longer.

Therefore, I conclude that issues like Agrarian Reform will not be solved unless we could
establish a government that is more than just willing but also capable of making a change. All that
I, we can do to help our country in the most simplest way is to elect the right people that will rule
and lead us correctly. Indeed, if we can do that, maybe tomorrow, Agrarian Reform and all other
issues our country is facing will be solved. If it will happen, probably, we and the coming
generation could see the Philippines that we always dreamed of.
