diligent investing officers, Mr. Julie N. Macasieb and Mrs. Filipinas L. Mabanglo; to my
industrious fellow scout masters; to our supportive parents and godparents, and to you
our dear scouts, a pleasant morning to all!

It is with great honor to welcome you all to this Investiture Ceremony. The
investiture ceremony is the time when a Scout, by means of the words of the Scout
Promise, publicly announces their commitment to the Scout Law. At the ceremony, the
Scout makes the Promise to the Scouts and Scouters of their troop and to all the Scouts
of the world. It is once the candidate has made the promise that is the time that he
becomes a Scout.

This activity will also serve as a pre-requisite to much more bigger scouting activity
which is encampment and jamborees to be held in different places in our division,
province or country.

I hope that you will fulfil the duties and responsibilities of real scouts and be role
models of good values to your fellow schoolmates.
