As part of my complete site redesign/rebranding, the concept for this animated banner was to depict the
company logo growing
as grass from a metal surface, in order to convey the idea that Mercurial could provide "the impossible and the
unexpected" for it's clients.

An interactive CD to showcase 3D visualization projects under development by the Technical & Business
Services regarding the downtown core. For use by City staff and for external building developers.

I wanted to convey a sense of the great technical prowess present in the organization, so I designed the
interface and graphics in a way that referred to the visual and functional complexities of the software
applications that were actually being used by the engineers.

Clover Point/Technisonic: Flash DVD training module. Unfortunately I do not have access to the original swf of
this module. This was a very interesting project though, because I was tasked with translating a set of
documents into a series of cued vocal descriptions that had to be matched by linear animations of the radio
controls and displays. Each audio file was to be accompanied by a text component as well. Stop, start and
Rewind/Advance controls were also necessary. I decided that an accordion-style, collapsible xml menu system
was the best way to go for the navigation, as it provided a nice way to group the myriad subsections. The
client wanted a design that was reminiscent of "apple".

I was responsible for UI concepts and design, 2D/3D animation, interactive design, video design, xml and audio
editing. Main software used: Cinema 4D, Adobe After Effects/Photoshop, Flash.

I also designed and developed an interactive product brochure module for Technisonic. For that, I used a
slightly different 3D radio design that had a much larger display screen, and I made the switches and buttons
toggle/function as the navigation controls. Each control would activate an on-screen animation for specific
products. Some of those animations also contained nested mc's as informational mouseovers.

While at Mercurial Communications I was asked to create a 3D rendering of an apartment interior for purposes
of a real estate demo. Time was very limited, so I used a combination of prepared and manually-modified
models. Most of the textures/maps, and all of the lighting was modified by me. Note the company logo on the
fridge.
