Discipline, Perseverance and God: The key to success

After the apocalypse, is the last man standing in the coldest night, the man finds some survival
books to make a bonfire, the man follows step by step, but he fails over and over and he dies
trying. What’s missing from this guy? What are the factors that will keep him positive and wants to
survive?

These factors that could help him are: Discipline is an important factor to get what you want to
reach. Discipline its everything you do for your dreams, but in an appropriate manner. It’s the fact
of doing my duties without another person looking if I’m doing it or not, it’s behaving positively to
adversity and always have the look in your dreams. Like an athlete, he must eat healthy, sleep well
and meet certain strict training. He must have discipline or he won’t get the results he wants.
Without it you can’t get what you want. It’s the love for your goals that make you discipline. Even
if you start cleaning bathroom. ¡be the best bathroom cleaner! It’s a process, with discipline you
can be the boss one day. Just be discipline!

Has it ever happened to you that you want to achieve something and you concentrate all your
effort in it, although you fail over and over in every project you want to develop? It is probably
because you don’t have perseverance and trust in yourself. Imagine Thomas Edison, he had an
awesome idea of creating a light bulb, but he didn’t make it at the first try or in one day. He
wanted to make history with his creation, he had dream, a goal. Edison didn’t give up, he wanted
to prove the world he was right, making a lot of sacrifices to get it. If you want to achieve a goal
make sacrifices, no matter if things get worst, do your best and trust in you. And do you know
what happened with Thomas Edison? Yes, he made history, because he was perseverant.

And finally, but the most important is faith in God. “Faith moves mountains” right? God can do
things that for men are impossible, having trust in god gives you strength to front facing life and
proofs in the way to your dreams, it gives you a big amount of confidence and abilities even if you
don’t have them. I practice cycling and last year I injures and I couldn’t ride for 4 months, finally I
catch up with it again. I was really upset because all my opponents were in better shape than me. I
felt so weak and afraid, I didn’t feel confident. In those days there was an important competition.
Nobody had trust in me, even my coach didn’t. That night I asked god to give me wisdom and
strength to win, although I was not prepared. I was filled of confidence in that track and I won.
That I felt the power of faith in god. Just leave all your problems in god, and do your best. That’s
the key.

To conclude, I’m not referring to nothing is impossible literally, because we have human limits like
flying or telepathy. It’s about your dreams, you have to make a lot of sacrifices to follow them,
you’ll suffer in the road, you will cry and probably hate it, but its love which moves you. Because
when you are in the top of the world, you’ll realize that all those sacrifices deserved it, and these
are the fruits of the tree of discipline, perseverance and God. Enjoy them! Just remember, nothing
is impossible.
