The National Basic Education Commission of CEAP (CEAP-NBEC) would like to invite you the last leg of the 2018 CEAP-NBEC K to 12 Summit on Strengthening School Leadership which focuses on intensive capacity-building trainings for school heads. This two-day seminar will be held at the University of San Jose-Recoletos (Basak Campus) on February 9-10, 2018. The first graduates of the Senior High School (SHS) Program this School Year 2017-18 would be a major event in the Philippine education history and the CEAP-NBEC would like to assist the schools in (re)defining school responsibilities, focusing on roles that can improve school results. The registration fee for CEAP member schools is 2,200.00 PhP (per head) and 2,500.00 PhP (per head) for non-member schools. This year’s summit shall focus on training areas such as Supervisory Program (Instructional Leadership, Coaching Across Grade Levels) and School Improvement Planning. The first graduates of the Senior High School (SHS) Program this SY 2017-18 would be a major event in the Philippine education history and the CEAP-NBEC would like to assist the schools in (re)defining school responsibilities, focusing on roles that can improve school results. Target Participants Administrators, School Heads, Strand Chairs/Academic Supervisors of basic education schools and higher education institutions offering basic education programs. The summit aims to: a.gather data and feedback from private schools on the concerns and challenges of their supervisory programs and school improvement planning in Basic Education; b. provide an opportunity for schools to share their best practices, concerns and challenges on their supervisory programs and school improvement planning; c. propose resolutions on the concerns and challenges gathered; d. understand the components of a supervisory program and school improvement plan for their respective schools; and e. present these to the government and the policy makers for appropriate assistance and implementation.
