Good Morning!

I am Dr. P Usha The HOD of EEE Dept, DSCE. As the EEE dept HOD, I would like share a few things
about EEE Dept. EEE dept has grown by leaps and bounds since its inception in 1979. And as one of
the oldest departments of DSCE, we have made remarkable progress. I would like to share a few of
our achievements with you.

- This dept was accredited thrice by the NSA

- Under the Umbrella of EEE Dept, we have UG programs, PG programs and also a VTU recognized
Research Center.

- As the EEE Dept of DSCE, Our mission is to train, inspire and motivate students to develop their
skill sets. We achieved this by conducting Quizzes, workshops, Technical competitions, Group
Discussions, and Skill development workshops under professional society student chapter and IEEE
Student chapter

-We also created multiple platforms to allow our students to show case their talents. One such event
for us is the Hardware Hackathon called Create-A-Thon that is happening today.

- I am proud to say that this event has got an overwhelming response from colleges outside of DSCE
and within DSCE as well. We had a very hard time in filtering out the participating teams.

All of this could not have been possible without the constant support of our Principal Mr. xx. Thank
