    The grat Wall of china was built in the Qin Dynasty, 200 years before christ, in order to protect

    itself from the attacks of the inhabitants of present- day Mongolia. The emperor Qin Shi
    Huangdi,faith, unified the Empire in the year 221 before christ and joined the stretches of Wall
    previously built. The Wall came to be 7300 km long.

    The chinese Wall was built :


    To serve as surveillance posts
    To provide the army with a quick early warning system
    To create a military high through the road rugged topography
    To prevent the invaders comes from the north

    The height of the Great Wall is 5–8 meters (16–26 feet), where intact/restored. It was designed to be
    at least three times the height of a man. Some of the Wall was built along ridges, which make it
    look taller.

    The majestic Great Wall was built with wisdom, dedication, blood, sweat, and tears. Families were
    separated, and many workers died and were interred as part of the Great Wall itself.
