Image Watermarking Technique Based on DCT and

DWT

ABSTRACT
Goal of image watermarking is to hide message or special information
into the image and to later detect and extract that special information for
the author‘s ownership in one-to-many communications. Image
watermarking is essential to maintained the privacy during data
communication in the network which is widely used in military purpose,
medical purpose, space technology etc. To provide information
confidentially we have implemented watermarking technique using
discrete cosine transform and discrete Wavelet Transform process on
image and its purpose, methods, limitations and applications. Hiding
message/images on host image from various types of security attack is
become a challenge among the current researchers. In this paper
watermarked image is transmitted between two parties in a network based
on TCP/IP protocol. The simulation is done using MATLAB R2015a
version and various type of analysis like peak signal-to-noise ratio
(PSNR) index and the bit error rate (BER) index are used to measure
perceptual quality and robustness, respectively.
