RBI vide its circular dated March 18, 2013 has advised Banks to withdraw non-CTS 2010 standard cheques in circulation before July 31, 2013. It may please be noted that Non CTS-2010 cheque may not be accepted in clearing after July 31, 2013. The customers are requested to check the cheque leaves in their possession and if they are notin the CTS format they may submit their requisition for new cheque book.
