Kalypto/Market Risk Management solution integrates with the bank’s existing treasury system
to upload position data across multiple asset classes and computes capital charge arising out of
market risk under different approaches prescribed under Basel-II.

Role & Responsibility

 Work closely with software developers on preparing computation reports, dashboards,
Basel related rules setup etc in the product.
 Work closely with statistician on analytical tools such as Value at Risk, Back-testing, Mark to
Market, Mark to Model, Option Greeks, Valuation Models etc.
 Engage with clients on new type of instruments traded by them and aid the software team
to incorporate the valuation methodology along with the methodology to compute market
risk charge in the product.
 Prepare Functional Specification Documents/User manuals for clients
 Train the clients on Basel-II market risk related concepts
 Assist the implementation team and the client in carrying out User Acceptance Testing of
the product under implementation.
 Assist the product head for product development activities

Qualification & Skill Set

 Preferably MBA in Finance
 Any progress towards CFA will be preferred
 Understanding of different markets such as equity, fixed income, currency and the risk
factors for the same
 Knowledge of Advanced Excel, VBA macros, SQL will be an added advantage
 Willingness to travel at client location-domestic as well as overseas.
