1. How to define Importance factor for Wind load for ASCE 7-10? When we define
Wind load parameters for ASCE 7–10, there is no option for Importance factor.
While we have option to define it for ASCE 7-05. Screen shots are attached below:
2. What should be the "Scale Factor", when we are defining "Preset P-delta option". It
should be "1" for all loads or it should be as per load combinations? If we define
them as per load combinations, then the effect may be too much increase. As we
are also defining load combinations.
3. For "Effective Length Factor", if we specify "0" then it means, program will
determine it. But program determines this as "1", which is for braced frame. What
we should do that program can calculate this value for un-braced frame?
