Livestreaming has been popular for years; it could technically be within the realm of unlimited. In
the past few years, gaming livestreaming platform have been conquering the world of live
broadcasting. There are many platforms have been created to attract many gamers around the
world to participate and watch the livestream but the culture of livestreaming has caused many
disadvantages.

For starters, livestreaming has changed the culture of how human should interact with each other.
In Emma Witkowski’s argument that is ‘Livestreaming, participatory culture, and gender politics
at the edge of e-sports’, she talked about the changes of dynamic in human-non human activity
relationships, which has altered the traditional forms of participations and remuneration in this
new media sports ecology. That is not how we human should interact with each other thus the
world is getting more interactions through the LED glass.

Besides Emma Witkowski, there are other who have laid out their own solid points or opinion on
livestreaming and Daniel Rectenwald is one of them. In Daniel’s perspective entitled ‘Donation

aspect that live streamer should not have taken lightly. The way of the economic exchange works
in the livestreaming world is different from the usual way and the need for a continual skepticism
towards overly optimistic promises of participatory culture in the new media.

to participate in livestreaming. James said that livestreaming provides the chances for others to
