4) What is the purpose of managing reputation of GS? TO enhance the image and for it to have a
positive impact on the business.
5) What do GS do to manage the reputation of the company? Is there a mapped process to build,
manage and defend reputation? GS does not manage its reputation. There is no process. We just
ensure that we deliver what we say. It just works ittself out.
6) Do you think GS’s culture is nurturing organisational reputation? Yes we do things right. Our culture
is an inclusive and individual achievement culture
7) Do you think employees have an idea about corporate reputation? Not really.. but their dedication
and commitment to the doing the right things at the right time ensures we don’t slip up.
8) What the resources and capabilities available to manage corporate reputation at GS? Do you think it
is adequate enough? There has been no focus or attempt to actually manage reputations. So there
was no allocation made in terms of funds and human capital
9) What are the digital media utilised at the present? Website, Facebook and youtube for now
10) What are the main objectives of the digital media strategy? To get the name of George Steuart out
to the world.
