This is sot with the time fimit before exposure. If his timer runs down, the exposure is aborted immediately, and the above error message is dsplayed. Depending on the mode of oper= ation, the time Hit is calculated as follows: ‘AEC mode The lime limits the power-dependent load time plus a tolerance value (approx. 400 ms) mAs mode Tho time limit is the calculated exposure time plus a cortain reserve. ti this period is shorter than 2 8, 2¢ are assumed. In both cases a new installation of the parametars in tho control panel has to be performed. The opdose parameters have tobe programmed manually via the control deck. Before writing data into the memory it is first necessary to erase the sector in which data is to be stored. The erasing procedure is con- trolled by a timer. This procedure takes a while, and for very thin objects itis possibie that the AEC will not manage to, within the time limit, decide if a correction is necessary or not.
