However, we are constrained to mention with regret that due attention has not been paid to the request made by us, ‘SENIOR MEMBER as a result, the retired CPMFs personnel are highly agitated and aggrieved. To the best of our knowledge, no untoward incident or case of indiscipline by retired CPMFs personnel has ever taken place nor any serious health problems reparted so far, which can be attributed solely to the issue of liquor in CPCs. It may not be out of place to mention that in Defence Forces, GREF, Assam Rifles, and Coast Guards ete. liquor is being sold to the serving as well retired personnel through CSD canteens. It is regretted to inform that IG (Adm) Dre. Geni, CRPF New Delhi ide his signal No.S-XII-1/2001-14-ADM-3. (Rules) dated 29/06/2015 (copy enciésed for ready reference), all the formations of CRPF which also include a number of Master/subsidiary canteens of CPCs maintained by CRPF at various locations), havé been directed to stop procuring liquor in a routine manner. es The decisions to procure anit issue liquor through Master/Subsidiary Canteens of CPCs, was since taken by Central Administrative Committee of WARB-cum-CPC, therefore, this facility may spt be abruptly denied to the serving/retired CPMFs personnel. Since, it is a mattef of popular interest, “NCC of Ex-CPMEs Personnel Welfare Associations” is being frequently approached by a number of CPMFs Welfare Associations to get tlie matter sorted out once for all. It is therefore requested that Chairman WARB and all DsG of CPMFs may kindly be directed to attend this issue on priority. For the time being they can issue the liquor from the available license quota and if need be they may get enhanced quota issued by adding number of retired personnel in respective ardas. If necessary, the retired personnel can be asked to make required security depdsits for purchase of liquor for which they will have no objection.
