BACKGROUND:
To be clear, these are God's words spoken to Solomon, King of Israel. Likewise, the
"land" referred to was the land of Israel. When the Israelites sinned against the Lord, He
would send the plagues mentioned in verse 13. But if they responded by humbling
themselves, praying, seeking God's face and turning from their wicked ways, God would
hear from heaven, forgive their sin and heal their land. God's answer to Solomon's prayer
God expects, that if his people, who are called by his name, have dishonoured his name
by their iniquity, they should honour it by accepting the punishment of their iniquity.
They must humble themselves under his hand.
Hindi natin maibaba ang ating sarili if hindi natin kayang aminin na tayo
ay may pagkukulang. And no need to be shy unlike confession room of
other denomination we are blessed kasi we have Jesus Christ na naging
mediator natin para we can directly talk to God and sabi sa JOHN 1-9
He is just and faithful to forgive us.
- All of us committed sins lahat tayo may pagkukulang sa Diyos so
hindi natin kailangan mag point ng finger kung sino ang may
pagkukulang dahil as a human being all of us ay may pagkukulang or
ginagawang iniquity ang pinagkaiba lang ( patago at lantaran)
Remember David one of the greatest character in the bible but he himself
committed sin.{ Psalm 51:
expressive of the cares and desires of a repenting sinner
DAVID repentance for his sin in the matter of Uriah(Bath-sheba.). He confesses
his sin (v. 3-6). II. He prays earnestly for the pardon of his sin
(v. 1, v. 2, v. 7, v. 9). III. For peace of conscience (v. 8, v. 12). IV. For grace to go
and sin no more (v. 10, v. 11, v. 14). V. For liberty of access to God (v. 15). IV.
He promises to do what he could for the good of the souls of others (v. 13) and
for the glory of God (v. 16, v. 17, v. 19).
In our iniquity, we must honour Him by accepting the punishment. Siyasatin natin ang
ating mga sarili. And let us humble ourselves kahit anung status, rank, profession, in the
eyes of God we are all sinners saved by His amazing grace.
We must Pray:
- When We Pray For Each Other, God Opens Doors For the Gospel
Galatian 5 :15:
Pray for our brethren not Prey them ( we must be a blessing to everyone and cursing)

-ministry
Double our efforts since DIYOS an gating pinaglilingkuran hindi sya nagpapabiro.
- We have no reason to backslide even many trials that comes to our life it is part
of our Christian life we face everyday challenge… but what ever e do seek GOD
first Mat:6 :33
-
Turn from their wicked ways (HOLINESS)—Hosea 6:1; Isaiah 6:10; Jeremiah 25:5.
Remember, in context this was addressed to “His people,” not to the heathen.
Each of us believers should take this to heart and examine ourselves (2
Corinthians 13:5) and look for any areas of our lives where we are walking
carnally. It is unrealistic to expect the lost to forsake their sins if the saved don’t!
Summarizing this famous verse, we see that God promises to hear from heaven
and to heal entire nations if His people do these things: humble ourselves … give
ourselves to prayer … seek the Lord (“His face”) … and repent and turn from any
wicked ways in us. That’s why I said in the title of this message, “I Need Revival.”
God’s revived people are the vessels He uses in bringing broader moves of God to
entire cities and even nations.
