Installation and first putting into operation must be perfor- med by trained and qualified personnel! Installation For installation of the signal unit NAUTOALARM see the cable and connection diagram at- tached, Individual Device Fig. 1-1 and Fig. 1-2 show the connection possibilities for the NAUTOALARM signal unit. ‘The connections (plug or terminal) are shown for the individual status messages with cor- responding display panels and for the power supply. Additionally, the connections for the external dimmer and the external reset can also be identified. The relay PCB and its con- nections for external status messages via a transfer module and the serial output (Fig. 1-2) is only delivered on the customer's request. There are jumper panels on the base PCB in the NAUTOALARM signal unit. The jumpers on these panels determine how the status messages are to be triggered: — voltage level or — floating contakt. (refer also to the "Technical Data’, Section 3). ‘When replacing signal units, these jumpers must be checked in acc. with drawings 185 D 097.HP100, BI. 2 + 3 and corrected when necessary. Eaton: 15. The relay PCB in every unit is required for this. The following three variations are possible: 1. The signal input is switched on both units, but with separated signal contacts: Advantage: if one unit fails, the other unit remains ready for operation.
