Is borrowing Wi-Fi right or wrong?

How ironic when someone wants to borrow Wi-Fi, we see it unethical and if we
are the one who wants to borrow it we don’t consider the factors that can affect the
relationship. As what I’ve experienced, my mother always complaining why sometimes
our internet connection is slow but she is the one who gave permission to our relative
neighbor to use our Wi-Fi. There are certain factors that can affect your relationship with
your neighbor when you borrow Wi-Fi.

In my opinion, sharing your internet connection is a good neighborly thing if and

only if they will use it in important matters. And after that they can disconnect the
connection. On the other hand, if they are abusing it and you as the owner of the Wi-Fi
you are the one who is suffering for the slow connection, it is already wrong. And
absolutely Stealing Wi-Fi without permission is unacceptable because you are not the
one who is paying the internet expense.
