Materials
• 3 sheets 7-count stiff plastic canvas*
• Worsted weight yarn as listed in
color key*
• 1 sheet craft foam in desired color*
• Hot-glue gun

Instructions
1. Cut pieces from plastic canvas ac­
cording to graphs (also see page 6).
2. Cut craft foam pieces slightly smaller
than box sides, lid sides and lid top. Cut a
6#/4"x 4!/4" piece of craft foam for box
bottom.
3. Stitch pieces following graphs. Over­
cast leaves, flower petals and centers with
adjacent colors. Using light sea green
through step 5, Overcast box bottom, in­
side edges of frame front, top edges of
frame front and frame back from dot to
dot, top edges of box sides and bottom
edges of lid sides.
4. Whipstitch box sides together, then
Whipstitch box sides to box bottom
where indicated on box bottom graph.
Whipstitch lid sides together, then Whip­
stitch lid sides to lid top.
5. Whipstitch frame front to frame back
along side and bottom edges and from
corners to dots along top edges.
6. For hanging cord, cut four 20"
lengths of light sea green. Place all four
lengths together. Thread all four lengths
from front to back through one cutout
hole of frame back. Make sure ends are
even, then tie in a knot on backside; glue
knot.
7. Separate the four lengths of yarn into
two lengths of two strands each. Twist
loosely around each other until approxi­
mately 2" from end. Thread ends from
front to back through remaining hole and
knot in back; glue knot.
8. Using photo as a guide, glue leaves,
flower petals and flower centers to frame
top and box top. Glue craft foam to inside
of box sides and to inside of lid top and
sides. Center and glue 6#/4" x 4!/4" piece of
craft foam to wrong side of box bottom. ■
