No, 3324 H, No, 6052 Republic of the Philippines Gongress of the Philippines Metro Manila Fifteenth Congress Ohird Regular Session Begun and held in Metro Manila, on Monday, the twenty-third day of July, two thousand twelve. | Repusiic Acr No. 10630 ] AN ACT STRENGTHENING THE JUVENILE JUSTICE SYSTEM IN THE PHILIPPINES, AMENDING FOR THE PURPOSE REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9344, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE “JUVENILE JUSTICE AND WELFARE ACT OF 2006” AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled: SECTION 1. The Title of Republic Act No. 9344 is hereby amended to read as follows: “An Act Establis Comprehensive Juvenile Justice and Welfare System, Cre: the Juvenile Justice and Welfare Council under the Department of Social Welfare and Development, Appropriating Funds Therefor, and for Other Purposes.” Sec. 2. Section 4 of Republic Act No. 9344 is hereby amended to read as follows: “SEC. 4, Definition of Terms. — The following terms as used in this Act shall be defined as follows: “
