The table above illustrates the comparison of the MPS results in Mathematics during the 3rd quarterly
assessments this school year and the previous year.

As we can observe, there was a minimal increase of 0.23% in the Overall Average MPS in
Mathematics during this year as compare to the third quarterly test last school year. Grades 1 – 3
demonstrated increase in their performance by 0.42%, 1.33% and 4.60% respectively. Meanwhile,
decrease was observed in grades 4-6 ranging from 1%-2%.

Same as the other learning areas, Mathematics is expected to increase at least 5% in the next
quarter

As revealed by the table above, still the result is not that high but it increased by 0.59% comparing it
to the previous School year.

Grade 7 demonstrated decrease in performance by 4.71%. Meanwhile, the rest of the grade
level shows increase by 1.85%, 1.30% and 1.30% respectively.

Mathematics should increase at least 5% in the overall MPS next quarterly test
