BREAKING NEWS: The Forrest Fenn Treasure Hunt was solved by YouTube Personality
RobKAdventureDad and led to a 1’x1’ area in New Mexico, North of Santa Fe.

ALBUQUERQUE, NM., September 01, 2019. Rob Kittinger, PhD (@RobKAdventureDad on YouTube &
Instagram), solved all nine clues in the Forrest Fenn’s poem. The poem was said to lead to a treasure
chest filled with approximately $2 Million dollars of hidden gold, gemstones and relics in the Rocky
Mountains. The Albuquerque, NM resident became interested in the treasure hunt when watching a
New Mexico True video where Fenn mentioned the smell of “pinyon” – Rob realized it had to be nearby.
After solving the clues, Rob had to wait over seven months for the snow to melt to access the site.
During this time, he wrote a 200-page book about his adventure – “Brave in the Wood” – which is
available now on Amazon and Lulu.com.

The poem’s solution led to the eastern slope of a mountain in NM. The land is part of Philmont Ranch
which is owned by the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) and is visited by 27,000 youth every summer. Rob
Kittinger had the permission of Philmont to be on the property to take photos for his book.

The treasure chest and its contents were missing from the site but the solution in the book proves it had
been hidden there. The treasure chest is NOT, and never was, in the possession of the treasure hunter.

“I had a lot of fun solving the clues in Forrest Fenn’s poem.” … “It certainly would have helped my family
and would have eliminated my student loan debt if I had found it”. “Someone said that six people have
died looking for this treasure and I see why. It’s not supposed to be on a path; you hunt treasure alone
so you don’t have to share the wealth; and if you traveled to be hunting in a location and you know you
can’t get back there soon you’ll take risks to look where other people haven’t looked before.” “Now that
it’s over, I hope treasure hunters will be a little more cautious and Forrest Fenn can enjoy some peace.” –
