menyusun teks recount lisan dan tulis, pendek dan
sederhana terkait peristiwa / pengalaman dengan
memperhatikan fungsi sosial, structure text, dan
unsur kebahasaan secara benar dan sesuai konteks
minimal 70 %.

Recount text is a text which tells about somethig
that happened in the past. The details in recount
can include what happened, who was involved,
where it took place, when it happened and why it
occured. It also used to describe about someone
authobiography
The goal is to entertaining or informing the
reader or listener about past activity
Generic structure of Recount Text
• Orientation tells who was involved, what happened,
where the events took place, and when it happened. With
orientation, background information answering who?
when? where? why?

• Events tell what happened and in what sequence. Events


are identified and described in chronological order.

• Reorientation consists of optional-closure of


events/ending, concluding comments express a
personal opinion regarding the events described

Features on recount text
1. Using details. Details are selected to help the reader
reconstruct the activity or incident (Factual Recount).
The details are :
- details of time, place and incident need to be clearly
stated, example : At 11.15 pm,

- descriptive details may also be required to provide


information, example : He was a skinny boy with a blue
shirt, red sneakers and long tied back hair (Factual
Recount)
