Intake gate PLC trouble shooting

■ Location : Intake gate local panel

■ Issues :

- 1st July, HEC had installed the relay about Over Voltage Detector inside intake gate local control
panel because REP comments to install the relay.

- 3rd July, It arisen the error signal as MC FAULT at SCADA during intake gate operation.

- 3rd July, It checked intake gate local control panel to reset and to find out the reasons. But it
suddenly burned with smoke inside PLC module during check.

- 11th July, New PCSG module changed and testing.

■ Reasons :

It was difficult to find out the reasons why PLC module burn during checking. But we considered
that Over Voltage Detector was effected something during operation and then MC FAULT arisen.
But this was not connected to reasons why PLC module burning. Maybe it was some error action
or mistaken action during checking.
