THE INSTITUTE OF CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS OF PAKISTAN Instructions for the Examinees 01 The Examinations will be conducted strictly in accordance with the announced schedule. Students must ensure that they are aware of the correct date, timing and venue of their Examination Centre, 02. Students must cary their Admit Cards which must be produced when demanded by the Invigilatos. Students who do not receive their admit cards through postal mail may download the same through their secure login area at the ICAP's website 03 Entry into the Examination Hall would be permitted 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the examination. Entry in the Examination Hall after 30 minutes of commencement of the examination would not be allowed. However, no extra time would be given to the late coming examinees, 04 No student would be allowed to leave the Examination Hall within one hour of commencement of the examination. Students who ‘opt to [eave the Examination Hall within two hours of commencement of the examination must hand over their Questin Papers to the invigilators. 05 Students who have handed over their Answer Sheets to the invigilators would not be permitted to re-enter the Examination Hall under any circumstances, whatsoever. 06 Students must sign the Attendance Sheets available with the Invigilators. Failure to sign the Attendance Sheet would render the ‘Answer Sheet void 07 Students must write their Names, Roll Numbers and the subject, and place their signatures on the perforated upper portion of the Cover Page of the Answer Sheets only. Disclosure of the student’s identity (Name, Roll No., Address, Telephone No. or any other uncalled for remarks or messages) at any other place in the Answer Sheet would lead to the disqualification of the student. In questions pertaining to writing of letters, memos, repors, ete aliases such as ABC, PQR and XYZ, etc, should only be used Students must ensure strict compliance with these instructions. The students should also keep in mind that any cutting or erasure on any part of the answer book other than the perforated portion, does not need to be authenticated by the student's signature as this would reveal is identity ’ (08 Students are required to sign on the attendance sheet each time they receive a supplementary answer script. However, they should not write their names, roll numbers or their signatures anywhere on the supplementary answer script. 09 Any student found using unfair means would be expelled from the examination immediately. In addition, the Examination Committee may impose any other penalties as it may consider appropriate. ‘Policy on use of unfair means by students during Examinations’ may be viewed at ICAP's website. 10 Students must observe strict silence in the Examination Hall. In order to draw the attention of any attendant or supervisor, the student should raise hisher hand. I ‘The following material is allowed jn the Examination Hall: ‘© Writing requisites such as pens, pencils, scale, ete ‘© Calculators: Students are allowed to bring the following calculators in the Examination Hall: > Simple Calculator with no scientific function, > All models of Casio fx-82 series, > fx-85MS, fN-350MS, fx-260 Solar, fX-100, fx-100S, fX-100D, fk-95MS, fX-992S, fk-901, fX-B85ES, f-8SES Plus, fk 350ES, fx-35DES Plus, fx-9SES, fx-S00ES, f-091ES, fx-S70ES, fx-SOF Plus, fx-50 FH, fX-991ES Plus, fx-570MS, fk- 3S0TL, fx-991MS, fx-100W, fx SMS, fx-100MS, fx-S70ES Plus. Any other mode! of calculator will not be allowed in the Examination Hall, (Other models may be added to the list. For latest update you may visit the ICAP website). + Books are specifically allowed under the “Open Book Policy”. The policy can be viewed at ICAP’s website 12. Students must strictly reftain from carrying any notes, books, mathematical tables, check lists, graphical exhibits and calculators with programming functions into the Examination Hall. Any student found in possession of the above in the Examination Hall is liable for strict disciplinarily action for violation of examination regulations, 13. The students shall not be allowed (o carry mobile phone in the Examination Hall, 14 Students should not leave the Examination Hall and must remain seated at their respective seats during the last fifteen minutes of / the examination and till all the answer scripts have been collected by the Invigilators, after the examination 15) Inthe event of any differences with the inviglator, the student should seek the intervention of the Centre Supervisor | imincintely,
