    Package - yp-tools
    #rpm -qa | grep -i yp-tools

    Required info-
    NIS server and domainname

    #domainname
    edit /etc/yp.conf and add the NIS doamin name.
    "domain lsclsh server lsclsh
    domain lsclsh server lsclshs1"
    #ypbind service. check and restart
    #checking
    #ypwhich
    #ypcat passwd | grep -i kevin
