As we all know, the Inter-medical School Physiology Quiz (IMSPQ) was instigated by Professor Dr. Cheng Hwee Ming in 2003 at the University of Malaya, The IMSPQ started with only a small gathering of seven Malaysian medical schools, The following years saw a rapid growth of partic- ipating countries as Professor Cheng initiated the quiz in Asian and European countries, as well as in the USA. And now, itis our turn to host the 17th Inter-medical School Physiology Quiz ‘This international event hosts medical students from national as well as international university, brought together through their shared love of medical physiology. The purpose of the competi- tion isto give medical students the opportunity to broaden their knowledge and experience in an international competition, while having fun and forging new as well as fostering old connections for future networking. As we know competitions allow students to work together reaching tangi- ble goals. The outcome is far ess important than the individual journey of selfmprovement and ‘growth, We recognize and celebrate the path that our medical students are pursuing, Their ded- ication is proof that the future of medicine is in good hands.
