B. SOFTWARE
Software yang digunakan untuk memprogram FESTO PLC, yaitu FESTO Software Tool (FST).
Program ini dikeluarkan oleh FESTO. Versi terbaru dirilis pada 2 Agustus 2011. Bahasa program
yang digunakan adalah Statement List dan Ladder Diagram.

C. INSTRUKSI SET
Instruksi SET menyerupai instruksi OUT, tapi pada SET, bit yang menjadi operand-nya
bersifat latching (mempertahankan kondisinya), artinya bit-nya akan tetap dalam kondisi ON
walaupun kondisi inputnya sudah OFF. Untuk mengembalikan ke kondisi OFF harus menggunakan
instruksi RESET. Berikut merupakan contoh program yang menggunakan operand SET.
