Literacy Program

Low Literacy among students are always the root cause of failing their grades.
For this matter, the teachers asked from their reasons why they were struggling for
their performance in school. What are the common causes of students’ poor
performance in school?

Student 1: I am working student and they are times can’t avoid to absent. Lack
of funds/ allowances for one for our everyday needs. (Lack of support from parents)

Student 2: We first full filled our services at home before we proceed at school

There are many factors that affect students for their performance in school.

Now, Let us hear the voice of parents/stakeholders regarding to this issue. As

a parent how will you help your son/daughter improve performance in school?

Parent 1: Frequent monitoring of my son/daughter if she/he is in school.

Parent 2: Communication with the teacher in attending meetings in school.

Based on interviews that these are the solutions with the low performance in
school.
