Problem Statement: Solar powered
vehicle
Problem Description:-If there’s no such thing as a free
Solution/Approach Details
We will be creating a light weight vehicle {aluminum or fiber ) that will
driven from solar energy converted into electrical energy using foldable
solar arrays attached on the upper portion of the vehicle. When at rest
the foldable arrays will expand to charge the batteries. Sensors will be
integrated for various functions like expansion and contraction of the
arrays, and automatic direction change of arrays towards the light
source. Safety system for the vehicle will be based on face recognition.
All the controls of the vehicle will be controlled through voice.

Technology stack :- There will be a solar panel mounted on the roof

which will deliver its output to the main supply through which the
motors will be operated. Controllers will also be driven through solar
energy. Photosensors such as LDR, sunload sensor etc will be used for
the same. Power trackers and speed control will be placed in between the
main circuitry to control the charging speed of battery and speed control
of motor.
