PUBLIC NOTICE

The Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in WP (C) No.510/2005, CP No.1787 of 2017 in

the case titled – Ajay Sharma vs Brijesh Malhotra & Ors, vide order dated 13.7.2018 has
directed that the NCT of Delhi shall immediately implement the HSRP Scheme qua old
vehicles.

In order to effectively implement the order of Hon’ble Supreme Court, it has been
decided that in the first instance, only the owners of vehicles registered between
01.01.2011 to 30.4.2012 be directed to get their vehicles affixed with HSRP along with
hologram based coloured stickers, without any delay.

Accordingly, the owners of existing vehicles registered between 01.01.2011 to

30.4.2012, in which HSRP has not been yet affixed, are requested to contact the concerned
affixation centres of the authorized vendor along with their “Original Vehicle Registration
Certificates” for fitment of HSR plates and hologram based coloured stickers in their vehicles.
The details of concerned affixation centres and rates of HSRP are available at
www.hsrpdelhi.com.

The department is in the process to provide online payment and appointment facility
also for fitment of HSRP, the details of which shall be notified separately.

The schedule for affixation of HSRP in the remaining vehicles i.e. those registered
prior to 2011 or after 30.4.2012 shall also be notified in due course.
