SMPP® System – The HOW to do

▪ The Sustainable Meeting Planning Program®


(SMMP®) is an Event Sustainability Management
System, as defined in ISO 20121, international
standard for Event Sustainability Management
Systems.

▪ It is the only third-party certified system, to


comply with the international standard ISO 20121
for Event Sustainability Management systems.
The certifying body is icompli, a division of BPA
Worldwide.

▪ Organizations who fully implement SMPP®


System are in compliance with ISO 20121.
SMPP® System - Content
The SMPP® System includes ready-to-use company event sustainability policy templates, procedures, goals,
measurable objectives, scoring forms, checklists, industry compliance forms and reporting templates to
achieve ISO 20121 certification.
