Sukumaran Mechanical Engineer Architecture & Planning Group 048-00 MECH, MEMO doo Poge tofMECHANICAL WORKS 26/10/2009 REPORT ON THE STATUS OF MECHANICAL WORKS AT THE CITY SEASON HOTEL, ABU DHABI The followings are the status of mechanical works in the above hotel building as on 26/10/09 are as follows A) Water Supply 1) A-cold water pipe work distribution from 1 to 15" floors are completed B-Filtration units are kept on foundation at roof The riser pipes through the shaft up to roof are completed D-Cold water pipe on roof (from shaft to water tanks) not yet done E-Water lifting pump set and cold water booster pump set not yet delivered F- Chiller units for cold water system not fixed G-Cold water pipe work at pent house ~Phase 1 part finished 2). A-Hot water pipe work distribution from 1" to 15" floors are completed, B-Hot water riser pipe (supply & return) through shaft completed. C-Hot water booster & recirculation pump sets are not yet delivered D-All central water heaters are kept on foundation at roof. 8) Fire fighting works It is regret to note that no progress is found in fire fighting work since our last Report on 4/10/09 ‘Aire fighting pipe work distribution in 1st to 15” floors completed. B-Hose reel cabinet installed without hose reel & accessories C-sprinkler heads are fixed almost 80%, but locations to be corrected in most of the cases D-Riser pipe work through shaft not done E- Fire Pump set delivered but not fixed €)_ Air conditioning Works ‘A:3 nos.of chillers and 3 chilled water pumps are installed on roof. B-Chilled water risers in 2 shaft and pipe connection to 1" to pent house completed C- Thermostats for FCUs and grilles and diffusers are fixed in 4" to 15" floors D) Drainage work A-Drainage pipe work for each toilet/bath/pantry is completed in ist to 15" floors are completed. 8.
