These shall be liquids that can be applied without heating and shall produce an effective bond between
the surfaces to be protected and the subsequent coating of the tape. The solution shall not settle in the
container to form a cake that cannot be mixed easily by hand stirring. They shall have good spraying /
brushing properties and a minimum tendency to produce bubbles during application.

It is recommended that both the primer and the tape it is meant for, shall be manufactured by the same
manufacturer for getting effective bonding.

This primer conforms to British Standard BS- 4164.
