Summary
GE Digital Energy issues the release of its Multilin EnerVista SR3 Setup Software version 2.10. Highlights of this release
include:
• Added Variable frequency drive (VFD) configuration support in 339 motor protection relay.
• Resolved Ground Fault Trip Function relay enabling issue in protection summary
Upgrading from a previous version of the Multilin SR3 Setup Software to the new 2.10 version can be done via
EnerVista Launchpad or downloaded directly at:
http://www.gedigitalenergy.com/multilin/software/339.htm

Release Details
In the following enhancement descriptions, a revision category letter is placed to the left of the description. Refer to the
Appendix at the end of this document for a description of the categories displayed.
Added Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) configuration support in 339 motor protection relay.
Encrypt only private files (Security report). Public files kept inside a normal .zip file unencrypted.
G Resolved Ground Fault Trip Function relay enabling issue in protection summary.
Ground Fault Trip function enabled relays refresh issue has been resolved in protection summary screen.
In 339, “Compare with Settings File” issue resolved when Ground Fault Trip Function set to “Enabled” and Set
Ground Fault Relays to “Relay 4”.

Customers are able to upgrade their version of the Multilin SR3 Setup software to the new 2.10 release via
EnerVista Launchpad or by direct download from the following site:

Appendix
Change categories
This document uses the following categories to classify the changes.
Table 1: Revision categories
N New feature A separate feature added to the relay. Changes to existing features even
if they significantly expand the functionality are not in this category
G Change A neutral change that does not bring any new value and is not correcting
any known problem
D Changed, incomplete or false Changes to, or problems with text messages, LEDs and user pushbuttons
faceplate indications
R Changed, incomplete or false relay Changes to, or problems with relay records (oscillography, demand, fault
records reports, etc.)
C Protocols and communications Changes to, or problems with protocols or communication features
P Protection out of specification Protection operates correctly but does not meet published specifications
(example: delayed trip)
