Proving your English language ability

Our TOEFL institution code is 0898.

If English is not your native language, you must send us your score in a recognised English
test taken within the last two years. We do not require a hard copy of your score report at the
application stage and will verify your test score during the admissions process. Please make
London Business School the score recipient to your test score so we are able to verify your
scores electronically.

We accept these tests:

• TOEFL Internet-based Test

• IELTS
• CPE
• PTE (Pearson Test of English)
• CAE.

You do not need to submit your test score if:

• your undergraduate or postgraduate degree was conducted entirely in English or in

an English-speaking country (degrees must be two years or longer)
• you have lived or worked in an English-speaking country for at least two years since
graduating from university.

Your English will be continually assessed during the admissions process.
