CHOOSE ENGLISH DEPARTMENT IT IS GOOD FOR YOU?

English Department is one of the best department in State University of Gorontalo. Why?
Because a lot outstanding students come from here and there are have many best quality lecturer
graduate from other country like Australia, UK, and USA. For example many lecturers
completed master degree in there.

Learning English so important for you, for example when you try to apply for job and you
have skill English fluently, the company will be consider you. According to Crystal (2000; 1)
English is a global language. This statement represents the meaning that English is used by
various nations throughout the world, and English holds a very large function and role. One
visible implication is that more and more people are trying to learn English well. For example to
face global competition, English is introduced to students earlier. Many elementary school
students and even kindergartens start learning English. The use of English also began to be
widely used in non educational fields such as economics and business. The United States is
known for it is product: McDonald’s, Coca Cola, Nike, ford and etc. In addition, several
countries such as China, South Korea, Japan, Germany and the Netherlands use English as a
second language so they can establish trade cooperation with countries such as the United
Kingdom, USA, Australia and New Zealand. So that is why i choose English Department for my
way become successful.

In conclusion English it is so good for you to easy your work, communication with foreign
people, getting new information, getting future husband or wife from another country maybe,
and think more broadly. Thank you
