WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR HQ), New Delhi desires to engage 10 Project
Assistants on purely temporary basis under Project titled “CSIR Transformation Project – ICT
Interventions” at CSIR HQ, for which the interview will be held on October 20, 2011 at 10:00 hrs.

Qualification, Experience, Remuneration and Age limit for engagement of temporary project staff

The position is purely temporary and proposed to be filled up on contract basis for a period of
ONE YEAR renewable after one year, which is extendable up to project duration. Contract may
be terminated any time by giving one-month notice on either side. The applicants will have no
claim implicit or explicit for consideration against any CSIR post.

Leave: Project Assistant will be entitled for one day leave for each completed month.

Reservation: As regards reservation, if all things are equal, SC/ST/OBC candidates may be given
preference over general candidates so as to ensure their representation.

Medical facilities: Project Assistants will not be entitled for any medical facilities either through
CSIR dispensaries or under CS (MA) rules. However, under emergent circumstances,
organization may give emergency treatment/consultation through CSIR dispensaries, but they
will not be eligible for reimbursement of medical expenses.

There would be no component of HRA, DA, Increment etc. for Project Assistants and the
consolidated remuneration to be paid to Project Assistants may be called “Stipend.”

Mode of Selection: In case large number of candidates turns up, the candidates will be short
listed through written test and interview by a constituted Screening Committee.

Relaxation of age for SC/ST/OBC/PH will be applicable as GOI instructions.

Eligible candidates may appear with duly filled in downloaded Application Form with
photograph for “Floating (Walk-in), Written test and Interview” on October 20, 2011 between
09:00 hrs to 10: 00 hrs (Candidates will not be entertained after 10:00 hrs under any
circumstances) along with original and attested copies of certificates, in the proper format issued
by the appropriate authority as per the latest instructions issued from time to time on the subject.

No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for appearing in the interview.
