Excellencies heads present and distinguished delegates,

Thank you very much for giving the floor to the government of Thailand
Historically the difference between mankind has been marked sharply since the
beginning of social life, the woman had no right to comment and to be heard, much
less to choose their role in society.
Thailand women are marked by the habits of hundreds of years and although the
issue of gender equality is evolving even certain appropriate behaviors remain a
lady. Years ago women suffering from domestic violence, today there is the law on
victims of violence, and Thailand is determined to further advance gender equality to
gain acceptance on equality between children at an early age.
As a proposal to improve start by saying that gender equality is also in the hands of
men to foster positive attitudes about women, therefore separate data gender be
collected to perform analysis and formulate gender-sensitive policies also provide
training public budget to promote gender agencies, this will help end all forms of
discrimination against women.
We think that promoting gender equality begins with each and every one of us to
improve our societies.
