Reflection Paper: Miracle in Cell. No 7

The Miracle in Cell. No 7 was a Korean movie about a loving Father named Lee
Yong Goo, who is mentally impaired. But even though he has disability, he still takes care
for his little daughter. People with mentally dysfunctions has a pure heart that even though
they were punished, hurt their feelings by others, and misunderstood by many, they still
love those people harmed them. This movie represents how badly people with disability
were treated. People with higher positions and where high minded are taking advantage
to those people with dysfunctional issues. People like Mr. Lee Yong Goo do not have the
voices to speak out for themselves. They couldn’t even protect themselves to those
selfish people. It hurts me a lot when in the time that they were in the courtroom, he was
psychological and mentally abuse by the Commissioner. He was forces to claim that he
was the one who killed the Commissioner’s daughter, to protect her daughter Ye-seung.
There was no justice that happened that time while Ye-seung was still a child. When Ye-
seung was a lawyer she fight and to claim that her father was innocent and to clean her
father’s name.
This movie made my heart sad and my eyes to cry. But it inspires me a lot to
continue my desire in teaching. My desire to help and teach those people who needed to
learn and specially persons with disability. As teachers, we are the one who first to
understood even though the world misunderstood them so much. We are here to serve
and love them without expecting anything back. Also, to make the people to accept them
with love.
