Book Review Assignment Questions

1. Provide bibliographical details of the book you review.

2. Describe the organization the protagonist created? (Make sure besides describing the business
of the organization, you also describe the structure – structural dimensions – information
sharing and control mechanisms, OE goals, contextual factors and the way they affected the
organization)
3. Describe the culture of the organization and the impact of the protagonist on the culture.
4. Describe any other organizational processes that you read in the book. These could include:
Organization change/transformation, organization learning, life cycle of the organization
(Decline and growth)and so on….
5. How does the organization relate with other players in the environment. Using the inter-
organizational framework, describe this.
6. Provide in-text and end of the review references, if you use any.

While responding to the aforementioned questions, quoting lines from the book and annotating the
same in the review will further strengthen the review assignment.

The book review should not be longer than 2000 words, times new roman, 12.
