Archer supplies an extensive range of conventional, premium and
specialised rental equipment for both onshore and offshore operations
throughout North America, Brazil, Bolivia, Mexico, Colombia, the Middle
East, North Africa, and the North Sea.
Standard equipment available for drilling, workover and
decommissioning work includes premium drill pipe
and tubing, heavy weight drill pipe, drill collars, blow out
preventers, spools, valves and handling equipment.
Specialised equipment includes heavy casing strings
for deepwater applications, extreme-torque drill pipe for
directional and extended reach applications, high-pressure
blow out preventers, and a range of specialised risers with
Hydril connections for subsea completions.
For deep water applications, our patented LAST™ landing
string system is uniquely capable of landing heavy casing
strings in excess of 1.4 million pounds with no stress yield to
the pipe or equipment.
Complementing Archer’s portfolio of rental equipment,
our wholly-owned subsidiary American Well Control
manufactures and supplies specialised pressure control
valves to the hydraulic fracturing industry.
Archer rents specialized equipment used in deep water,
shelf and onshore drilling, completion, and workover
applications. We have built a reputation for providing
customers with the highest quality equipment at the
lowest possible costs, for providing excellent service and
for adhering to the highest health, safety and
environmental standards.
We offer a large inventory of rental tool equipment
including drill pipe, tubing, hevi-wate drill pipe and
drill collars. We also offer a full selection of handling and
support equipment for all of our tubular products and a
large selection of pressure control equipment. In addition,
we also maintain a wide range of manifolds, BOP’s, annular
preventers, spacer spools, adapter spools, and double
studded adapters, test plugs, wear bushings and retrieving
tools and other assorted handling tools, including TIW and
HYDRIL valves, subs and baskets.
We offer a wide range of sizes of Grant Prideco’s Extreme
Torque connections on our drill pipe and hevi-wate drill
pipe from XT-39 to XT-57. We also offer intervention/special
riser tubulars for sub-sea completions with sizes 5 1/2”, 6
5/8” and 7 5/8” featuring Hydril’s 563 connections.
