On July 26, 2019, selected students from the section

Galileo, 12th grade, have conducted a fashion runway which

showcased Korean-themed outfits. The show was executed in a
manner that involves a variety of ways: the inspiration of the
attires worn; the models’ performance during the catwalk; and
the use of technical tools. These crucial elements have been
deeply observed and has derived into a conclusion that the
event as a whole was packed with its own upsides and
downsides.
By upon entering the room, the first thing that is to be
noticed was the installed lightings. The lights of different colors
have added a joyous and exciting vibe to the whole hall. This
technical tool used coherently agrees to their theme by adding
an energetic aura which produced a fun environment. However,
this implementation was greatly overused. The use of flashing
aesthetical lights has turned the event into a party, instead of
maintaining it as a casual fashion show. Not to mention that it
has caused nausea and dizziness to people who are light
sensitive.
As the heart of a fashion runway, in terms of attire, the
execution was done following the theme. Some of the models
were able to wear Korean style outfits. They were dressed up in
accordance to their motif. On the other hand, some have
dressed up a little too far that it made them look like
ragamuffins. Even though they were able to dress according to
their desired concept, the audience seemed to be
discombobulated with some of the models’ outfits.
In a fashion runway, the pieces are shown off with a
catwalk. The event has been divided into four parts: solo boys,
solo girls, pairing, and a production number which involves
everyone. As the girl models walk, each has strived to maintain
a good posture which most of them have achieved while some,
did not. During the solo walk of the boys, selected models have
shown a fair amount of enthusiasm and have walked with great
stance and graceful manner. But on the downside, a few can be
spotted to have walked in a lackadaisical demeanor. During the
part where they have to walk with a partner. Selected pairs
successfully performed, but some still lacked confidence and
have acted along with their partner awkwardly. The production
number was one of the sought after part. The dance move was
on point and the choreography was acceptable, however, the
main thing that they should’ve put into consideration was how
small the provided space was. They made the area look
rummaged, leaving the audience mystified of what they are
trying to do.
