Therefore it is my mission to propel our university into the top position among rising institutions of the country. The present University Museum is now taking shape and has adequate space for display. It does not however have a adequate collection to interest and attract visitors. We wish our guest Visitors must go back impressed after visiting the University museum, I therefore appeal to all the students, teachers, alumni and well-wishers to donate or gift any artifact linked to the University or Medieval period, such as old photographs, letters of prominent Urdu writers, poets & scholars, manuscripts, coins, stamps, paintings, costumes, textiles, antique house hold objects ete. to the University museum. I request the Non Resident Indians, particularly pass outs, academicians and other staff of Osmania University and all other Universities and Institutions as well as specially known for the Urdu culture to acquire artifacts or items, things, objects ete. related to Urdu heritage.
