Capability Statement

LJH was incorporated in 2013 in the Lao PDR to provide specialist engineering services
to the hydropower sector. Hydropower is positioned to become the nation’s main
export driver - feeding the exponentially growing demand for energy in the region.

Vision & Approach

Due to the contextual nature of each engineering solution, LJH applies a network
centric approach to. our work - acting as
coordinator to bring specialist services to the LJH
mainstream. Our aim is to establish accurate and Contract Awards
efficient terms of reference as early as possible in 1600mw
life of a project, and infuse the necessary teams
with the right human resource support. As such we
work closely with client teams with a view of 1200mw
encouraging those teams to eventually be self
sufficient.

This model for collaboration has served LJH well,
with projects exceeding 1480MW on its 2017

LJH was founded by Mr. Duang-Outhay
Vongpachan, a Lao national with extensive
experience in the hydropower and construction space. He is supported by Technical
Director Mr. Said Amazzal - a proven EDF engineer and project manager with numerous
deployments under his name. Business and Commercial Development matters are
managed by Mr. Julian Chin, who holds a
BA & MBA from Curtin Australia.

required.

Technical & Advisory Services

Through its network of International
partners, LJH is able to provide the
complete suite services for hydropower
development, including environment
and social impact studies. In Lao PDR,
LJH is able to provide full ground
support and mobilisation of
reconnaissance missions from project
inception to commissioning and operations.
