Cubic Right Angle Weave Instructions!
Written and Illustrated by Susan Sassoon
!
Cubic Right Angle Weave is one of the more difficult bead weaving stitches. It is especially difficult to
get started. Try using large beads such as 6/0 or 4mm fire polish beads for the first few rounds until you
get the hang of the stitch. When you are ready to try with smaller beads, just add the smaller beads to
the strand you’ve already started with the larger beads. That way, it will be easier to hold onto. The first
few cubes are very difficult to hold and visualize with small seed beads.

Cube 1, bottom and Face 1: String 4A, leaving a 6" tail (the orange colored
beads in the diagram (beads 1-4) show the bottom of the cube, or base round);
pass through the beads again to form a tight circle and tie a square knot to
secure. Pass through the first 2As strung (beads 1 and 2). This will be your base
