The student visited the Museyo Kutawato museum in Kidapawan City, North Cotabato for the second time with their class. They were welcomed by a staff member who introduced the museum. They watched a 3D video about the story of two brothers who founded different tribes. The student found the displayed artifacts more interesting upon closer examination, as they wondered about how the objects were made and their histories. The museum helped the student learn about the cultures, traditions and beliefs of different Mindanao tribes, and clarified that wars between tribes were often due to misunderstandings. The student thanked their teacher and adviser for organizing the educational field trip.

Last Monday, August 05, 2019, we went to Museyo Kutawato located at Amas Capitol, Kidapawan City, North Cotabato. It was the second time I visited the Museum. Before we tour the Museum, a representative/staff welcomed us and introduced the Museyo Kutawato. First thing we experienced in Museyo Kutawato was the 3-D short video presentation about the story of the two brothers, Mamalu and how they parted ways and developed their tribes. The second part was the presentation of different artifacts which are displayed accordingly and beautifully. At first, it was boring because I`m not interested in artifacts however as I continued looking at the objects, curiosity hits me. I wondered how those objects are being formed, where they came from and the history behind those artifacts. I am happy that we had given a chance to experience this trip and I learned a lot regarding with the cultures, traditions, and beliefs of different tribes here in Mindanao. Museyo Kutawato does not only gives the identity but also the history of the three tribes as one with one goal and gives clarification about the war with the tribes which is just a misunderstanding. It was such a happy and at the same time educational trip which I will treasure and part of our memories as a student. I would like to give Million of thank you to our subject teacher who pursued this trip, she really gave her best in order for us to experience Museyo Kutawato. To our adviser who guide us, protect and look for our safety. Most especially to our Almighty God whose been there protecting us in our way. I hope I can go there again and experience such amazing trip. Museyo Kutawato Patuloy sa Pag Asenso!
