To whom it may concern,

The Australian Football League (AFL) is the governing body for Australian Football.

The AFL coordinates an AFL International Cup every 3 years (commencing in 2002) in Australia where
countries (excluding Australia) are invited to compete in men’s and women’s tournaments. Only
nationals from competing countries (no ex-pat Australians) are eligible to participate.

The 2014 AFL International Cup attracted 25 teams (18 men’s and 7 women’s) from 18 countries.

The purpose of this letter is to confirm that the 2017 AFL International Cup will take place from Saturday
5th August – Saturday 19th August in Victoria, Australia and that we are anticipating a similar number of
countries to attend in 2017. Each team will play 5 matches (including finals) across the two week period.
Participants will pay their own way to attend and will manage their own travel arrangements including
flights, accommodation and Visa requirements.

If you have any questions regarding the 2017 AFL International Cup please contact me.

Yours sincerely,

Andrew Hughes
