‘’SAFE AND SECURE DEVICE”

INTRODUCTION
The Safe and Secure device has two
parts, the four receivers and notifier.
The receivers are to be placed on
four lower corners of the bus. These
sensors would then be wirelessly
connected to the notifier which is
place on the bus driver’s dashboard. This is all connected by Bluetooth.
When a pedestrian or an object is within 5 metres of the bus, the device
will transmit an alert to the notifier, which in turn plays a loud beeping
sound that the bus driver can hear. The devices are powered by AA
batteries and can be turned off at the switch on the receiver.
WHAT IS IT MADE OF
The mini replica was made with an Arduino uno board. The sensors
are ultrasound trigger and echo components. The body of the bus
was made with a toy bus.

- Reduce rate of accidents.
- Parents do not need to worry
about their children’s safety when
going and coming back from school.
- Help bus drivers to be more careful during driving.
- The passengers’ risk of being hurt in accidents decrease.
