REACTION PAPER

Last February 11-15, 2018 our University celebrated the University week
and the senior high and colleges competed for one goal which is to be declared
as the University week Champion.

University Week is one of the most significant events in every institution.


Thru this occasion, every student is given an opportunity to shows their talents in
various sport events in either ball games or athletics. Musical contest is likewise
included and adds color to this occasion wherein other students who are not
inclined in sports but with talent in singing, dancing and recitals. University week
aims to promote competition and fun among students. This is a great opportunity
for us to try new sport we’ve always wanted to learn. It is one of the activities that
is been annually celebrated in our University. It is a friendly competition among
senior high and colleges in the field of different sports and other academic
aspects. The college that will garner the highest tabulation of all the gathered
gold, silver and bronze will be declared as the champion in the said event.

Through this sportsmanship, values and leadership are been developed to


everyone that’s why majority of the players after the activities taken are
concluding that, It is not important if you win or loss in a game, what important is
how you played the game

After the five (5) days celebration of the University week, Senior High was
declared as the Champion followed by the College of Business Administration
and Accountancy (CBAA).
UPHSD students will still value the essence of the University week even
they won or lose in their field what important they did their best to play the
competition and they enjoyed the whole University week.
